Fitness Instructor

£21 per hour

Hours to be negotiated (Up to 3 hours per week, evenings 6pm – 7pm)

Acklam Grange School, Acorn Sport Centre are looking to appoint a dynamic, enthusiastic and suitably qualified fitness instructor to work within the Centres Life Style Programme.

 

The successful candidate will:

 

  • Possess a recognised Fitness qualification e.g. Exercise to Music at Level 2
    • Have excellent people and customer care skills as well as some experience of working with the public
    • Demonstrate a good understanding of physiology and anatomy
    • Be interested in promoting health and have a flexible approach to work

 

Classes take place on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evening from 6-7pm. Class content will be negotiable with the Community Sport Manager.

 

There will be an opportunity for candidates to shadow the current instructor prior to appointment.

Casual Exam Invigilator

Start: ASAP

Rate of pay £9.50 per hour

 

Opportunities are available for casual exam invigilators to support exam periods, predominantly during May and June, although you may be called upon to assist during other periods throughout the academic year.

Appointments are offered on a casual employment basis.

Exam Invigilators are essential to the school in supporting the smooth process of student examinations.  Working under the direction of the school examinations team successful applicants will be responsible for the setting out and collation of exam papers and resources, invigilation throughout exams and acting as a read/scribe for individual students.

Full training will be offered to successful applicants.

The successful applicant will have excellent administration, organisation and ICT skills. good communication and literacy skills and the ability to relate to a wide range of people is essential.
